GreatLakesBuy Return Policy

This Return Policy is included in our Terms and Conditions page.

Our more strict policies below are mostly for electronics due to many attempted fraud  cases.

Glassware If not broken will only cost you return shipping, as long as all wrapping and boxes are included. If you received a piece broken, just call us and in the item is in stock, we will sent out a replacement.

If you need to return an item, e-mail us at customerservice@greatlakesbuy.com and inform us of the reason for the return. If we authorize a return, you will receive a (RMA) Return Merchandise Authorization number

No Products will be Returned without an "RMA" number

No Products will be Returned without an RMA number. Some items may be non-returnable as noted in this document.
If we do Authorize a Return the terms listed below apply!

Preparing the Merchandise for Return:

  • Pack up all parts for the Return. Merchandise must be in Resalable Condition
  • Try to make it look as if it were on a store shelf if the product came in a display box.
  • Important, don’t write on or damage the retail box so GreatLakesBuy can fix it and sell it as refurbished.
  • The Return Authorization Number must be clearly visible on the outside of the package.
  • Do not write or apply shipping labels directly on the manufacturers packaging.
  • Box all returns in appropriate shipping cartons. Preferably in the shipping box it came in.
  • All returns must be received within 15 days of the RA issue date. After 15 days the RA will be cancelled.
  • GreatLakesBuy will not issue a second RA# for the same product.
  • GreatLakesBuy will subtract any amount from your return funds for any item components discovered missing. (Missing parts could include Cables, Manuals, Retail Box parts, etc.)
  • Credit is given on Returned Merchandise after GreatLakesBuy Receives and Inspects the Return Merchandise.
  • Important:  Restocking Fees applies to the following the Rules.
    • Unopened Merchandise will get full amount applied.
    • Opened Unused Merchandise will be charged a 15% Fee. (Cost of Reselling as refurbished)
    • Used Merchandise will be charged a 25% fee. (Cost of Reselling as used)
    • If you broke the merchandise it will be sent back to Customer with no Refund. No kinds of Fraud will be accepted.
  • Acceptance of this RA indicates customer has agreed to this Return Letter.
  • Important: You must provide a signature below (in the Email we send to you) and send a Signed Copy of this letter with the Merchandise to show that you are in Acceptance with these Terms that are provided in our Terms and Conditions page at our Web Site in which you agreed to in our Cart. Failure to provide this information may void the Money Owed to You. 
  • Send returns to the following address: The address will be provided with the RMA Number

GreatLakesBuy is not responsible for freight charges or shipping charges for any returned item.

GreatLakesBuy reserves the right to charge a minimum of 15% to 25% fees for restocking, processing and cancellation on any and all returned items. ( See "Preparing the Merchandise for Return" above ) If returned item is an unopened Item then customer will receive a store credit for the original purchase price less a minimum 15% restocking and cancellation fee. if the item has been opened, then the item must be in the original packaging and in resalable condition.

All Electronics:
Are sold as non-returnable items after 15 Days of delivery. Keep in mind about our restocking fees noted above.

ALL SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NONREFUNDABLE. ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR EXCHANGES ALLOWED AFTER 30 DAYS
(15 Days for Electronics) FROM CUSTOMER’S RECEIPT OF MERCHANDISE.

All damaged, missing, or mistakenly shipped products must be reported within 24 hours of package delivery.

For most merchandise, items are warranted by the manufacturer for a minimum of 1 year.  If you wish to submit a Returned Merchandise claim, please do so by Emailing us at customersupport@greatlakesbuy.com further specific instructions will be given within 1-3 business days. Please, do not send back unauthorized products for return. Otherwise, the return claim may be automatically rejected.

Any unauthorized returns will not necessarily be re-stocked and/or refunded. Please note that payment refunds occur only when similar merchandise is not available for replacement.

As a reminder, all damaged, missing, or mistakenly shipped products must be informed with 24 hours of package delivery. Otherwise, return claims may be delayed and/or rejected.

GreatLakesBuy stands by the quality and craftsmanship of all available merchandise. We will work with our Customers to the best of our ability regarding any merchandise returns and/or shipping concerns.
